hunebed is a mess. It fell a prey to stonerobbers a century ago. There
is a report from 1822 that states that the hunebed was in perfect condition.
Now only 6 sidestones, 2 endstones and 1 capstone are left. The
remains of the barrow that covered the grave is still clearly visible.
D31 is not so easy to find; it lies a few hundred metres from the paved road on a trail in the woods. |
